About me

multidisciplinary designer

Istarted my career as a trainee at Folha de São Paulo‘s visual journalism program. As an infographic designer, the first lesson I learnt was that information matters. Making the news easier for readers was the top priority; however, in order to build a good infographic it’s important to know how to tell a story. At Estadão, I started telling my own stories, doing the research, writing and shaping infographics as I wanted to. I took this expertise with me wherever I worked after that –  UOL, Metro, O Globo . As an art editor, I help my team to create their own multimedia stories, I organize the workflow of the infographics for the daily newspaper and coordinate and edit the biggest news coverage. I’m also part of Aos Fatos – Brazil’s first multi platform fact checking agency – amazing team, fighting mis/disinformation as a consultant and UX designer.

I’ve been an infographic designer for the past 10 years and I know where my path leads: visual and multiplatform journalism.

What I do best

I can write, edit, coordinate a team, illustrate and layout both in digital and printed media.

Man, am I good at those charts. Send me the data and I will return you some beautiful charts!

Team player

I work well alongside developers, video makers, journalists, editors and other designers.

I make vector illustrations and icons, colorful or outline, complex or minimal, or whatever you need 🙂

Visual information

I transform plain text into charts, maps, diagrams. Making information more accessible and direct.

UX/UI it's not my expertise but it's definitely something that I want to explore and learn from each work done.
